The book describes in detail some of the current scenario in Brazil on the subject and draws an important parallel with international practices on modifications to concession contracts, especially those adopted in the European Union, in addition to commenting on some cases in the airport, railway and road sectors.

Coordinated revision and approval of all the fesibility studies of the new concession project, including the controversial aspects of compensation for initital investments (Phase I-B) made by the original operator.

Consultation about re-tendering withdrawal

This unprecedente work, resulted from a consultation made by federal government, and consisted in create a model to allow conditions for renunciation of re-tendering addendum, within the scope of federal infrastructure concessions under brazilian re-tendering law.

Airport concessions (7th round)
PPP Projects
Coordinated the team responsible for review of all feasibility studies and legal documents for 15 airports, including one of the major domestic brazilian airport - Congonhas/SP.
Main findings were corrections on the development capex, wich was around R$80M above reasonable parameters and recommendations to improve construction pricing methodology.

Main challenges analysing this project were the impacts of Covid-19 on the assumptions of demand growth, considering the changes in business passenger profile and behavior, and also de number of simultaneously airports studied: 22 assets in 3 blocks (South, Central and North).
